Four years ago I had 400 implants and a lift. I am experiencing capsular contracture, more on my left breast. So I'm deciding to have them removed. Will I need a second lift? As it is I feel me nipples are a bit high? When I saw a second opinion doctor he did state that my nipples were too centered . I'm not happy with the scars. But my scar healing isn't the best Thanks
Answer: Will I need a second lift? I'm sorry to hear of the issues you are experiencing. If you decide to remove the implants it appears you would benefit from a revision to your lift. The scars could be revised and the nipple position corrected as part of the procedure.

Answer: Explant with mini lift The technique I recommend is a mini lift. Using a circumareola incision, the implants are removed, your breast tissue is reshaped, elevated higher on the chest wall and more medial to increase your cleavage. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast lift I would have to measure the i out cation if your nipples to see if they are the proper height. However the lower outer part of each breast is loose and needs to be tightened for a better result.

Answer: Second Lift? Good morning,If you are going to explant permanently then you probably will need a second lift, because you already have some sagging even with the implants in place- good luck!

Answer: Will I need a second lift? Thank you for sharing your question and photograph. Most likely you will require a revision lift once the implants are removed. Hope this helps.
